How is everyone today? It is beautiful here in Texas. The sun is setting and the low light and golden color on everything makes this my favorite time of day.
I had the opportunity to begin a charcoal drawing yesterday. It is coming along nicely and I should have it finished tomorrow.
I am posting a painting I did of a wonderful mustang called Trinket. She is so full of life and has a memorable personality. I hope it shows in this portrait of her.

This sweet little filly was just a few days old when I got to photograph her. I played around with the words that describe her color to come up with the title for this piece. Oil on Canvas 14" X 18" $497.00

"Watch Your Step"
White throated pack rats actually do walk across these cholla cactus. They will gather the pods that fall off and build their nests under them. It is a great way to keep their enemies away. I have been stuck by them before and they are quite dangerous! 9 1/2" X 12" Pen & Ink on Bristol,
